ADR




ADR

Is the Alternative Delivery Procedure at the New York Mercantile Exchange. It provides for longs and shorts to make and take delivery under terms which differ from those specified as good delivery for the contract.

Delivery
The tender and receipt of an actual commodity or financial instrument in settlement of a futures contract.

Exchange

Advance funded pension plan
Refers to the Advance Computerized Execution System, run by Nasdaq. ACES automates trades between order entry and market maker firms that have established trading relationships with each other.

Advance refunding
A pension plan in which funds are set aside in advance of the date of retirement.
