Extendable bond
Extendable bondBond whose maturity can be extended at the option of the holder (investor). Maturity 1) The length of time until the principal amount of a bond must be repaid. 2) The end of the life of a security. Option The right but not the obligation to buy or sell a fixed quantity of a commodity, currency or security at a fixed price on or until a particular date. Holder 1) A person in possession of a negotiable instrument such as a bill of exchange or promissory note. 2) A person who has made an opening purchase of an option and thus has acquired the rights to them.
