Lot




Lot

The amount of a commodity or financial instrument which can be traded in a futures or option market. Also known as contract size.

Commodity
A commodity is food, metal, or another fixed physical substance that investors buy or sell, usually via futures contracts.

Futures
Contracts covering the sale of financial instruments or physical commodities for future delivery on a commodity exchange.

Option
